摘要：A display device includes a display panel and a backlight unit. The display panelis curved along a first direction. The backlight unit includes an upper surface, and a lower

surface having a curvature different from a curvature of the upper surface. The backlightunit includes a bottom cover that includes a bottom portion, and a sidewall extendingfrom the bottom portion, a plurality of light emitting diodes on the bottom portion andgenerating light, and a diffusion plate on the light emitting diodes. In the first directionfrom a center portion of the bottom portion to an outer portion of the bottom portion,pitches between the light emitting diodes along a surface of the bottom portion, areproportional to distances between the light emitting diodes and the diffusion plate in adirection substantially normal to positions of the bottom portion at which the lightemitting diodes are disposed.
