摘要：The invention relates to a method for protecting against over voltage that issimple to produce, economical, compact and is simultaneously effective against over
voltage for a converter () provided for supplying an electric motor () comprising at leastone motor phase (L L L). Said converter comprises an electric intermediate circuit () andseveral half-bridges () that are connected in parallel in the intermediate circuit andrespectively comprise a circuit breaker () on the high potential side and a circuit breaker ()on the low potential side, in addition to an intermediately connected phase connection ().According to the invention, an intermediate circuit voltage (Uz) is detected and the oreach motor phase (L,L,L) is short-circuited by controlling the circuit breaker () on the highpotential side or the circuit breaker () on the low potential side, if the intermediate circuitvoltage (Uz) exceeds a predetermined maximum value. The invention also relates to amotor module () that comprises the converter () and a protection logic () for carrying outsaid method.
