摘要：A latch assembly with an automatic returning bolt includes a chassis, a bolt andan elastic element. The chassis has a pair of supporting boards and a guiding boardlocated on one side of the pair of supporting boards. The guiding board is formed with a

guiding slot. Each supporting board is formed with a receiving hole. The bolt has a mainshaft, a lateral-guiding post and a restricting portion disposed on a periphery of the mainshaft. The main shaft is slidably passed through the receiving holes of the supportingboards. The lateral-guiding post is slidably disposed in the guiding slot for limiting astroke distance thereof. The elastic element is disposed between the restricting portionand one of the supporting boards, and constantly pushes one end of the main shaft toprotrude outside the other supporting boards to lock a locking piece.
