摘要:A driving apparatus using a transducer. The apparatus comprises an electro-mechanical transducer (18), a driving shaft (13), a moving member (14) and a pushingmember (12). The driving shaft (13) is coupled with the electro-mechanical transducer(18); the moving member (14) is pushed against the driving shaft (13) for frictionalcoupling therewith, the pushing member (12) being interposed between the driving shaft(13) and the moving member (14). The moving member (14) is connected with the targtmoving object (11) such as a lens mechanism. In operation, the electro-mechanicaltransducer is fed with driving pulses of a frequency of at least 18 kHz so that thetransducer and the driving shaft (13) will be displaced slowly in one direction and rapidlyin the opposite direction, whereby the moving member (14) coupled frictionally with thedraving shaft (13) is driven axially in a reciprocating manner at two different velocities.Repeating these operations allows the moving member (14) to move slowly in the sameaxial direction in which the driving shaft (13) is driven, whereby the lens mechanism (11) orthe like connected to the moving member (14) is moved up to the desired position.
