我校上周五举行了一次拔河比赛英语作文

Last Friday afternoon, our school held a fierce tug-of-war competition. Our competitor is Class Two, Grade Six. Class Two, Grade Six is a very strong opponent. It is said that they have won ten games in a row.

At the beginning of the competition, their little universe broke out, and each of their hands were glued to the rope like glue. Our class didn't show weakness, either. The red silk, the symbol of victory, kept shaking on the rope, making it difficult to tell the difference between victory and defeat. However, at this moment, I slipped and fell, and the red silk instantly moved to the other side. I felt so guilty that I was worried that people would blame me, so I bowed my head and said nothing, waiting for everyone's criticism. To my surprise, people not only didn't blame me, but also encouraged me, which made me full of confidence again.

I stood up again, and the momentum of our class doubled, but the other party surprised us. No wonder they won ten games in a row, so their strength can be doubled. Because their strength was several times higher than ours, we couldn't fight back and lost the game. This kind of game is the best of three games, so we still have a chance to win two games.

In the second game, we know that they are powerful and can't fight head-on, but we can fight a protracted war. I thought that although they were strong, their physical strength was exhausted quickly. The game started, and we broke out without showing weakness, and so did the other team. We have been in this state, and we have been

engaged in a protracted war with each other. Because of our good endurance, we persist for a long time. After a while, we felt each other's momentum gradually weakened. We took this opportunity to pull back with all our strength and won the game. Our faces rose like fireballs, and this victory brought us confidence and hope.

In the third game, we knew that the opponent's physical strength was running out, and we continued to use the technology of protracted war to win the game in one fell swoop. We won the final victory of the game and broke the opponent's record of 11 consecutive games. We all shouted for joy.

Through this competition, I know that only by uniting and persevering can the collective strength be brought into full play.

上星期五下午，我们学校举行了一场激烈的拔河比赛。我们班的竞争对手是六年级二班，六年级二班是一个非常强大的对手，据说他们已经连胜十场比赛。

比赛刚开始，他们的小宇宙就爆发了，他们每个人的手上都像涂了胶水一样，紧紧地粘在绳子上。我们班也毫不示弱，标志胜利的红绸子在绳子上不停摇晃，难以分出胜败。可是，就在这时，我滑了一下，摔倒了，红绸子瞬间向对方处移动了一大截。我内疚极了，担心大家会埋怨我，就低着头，什么也没说，等着大家的指责。可令我意想不到的是大家不但没有埋怨我，还鼓励我，这让我又充满了信心。

我又重新站了起来，我们班的气势也高了一倍，可是对方也让我们大吃一惊，怪不得他们连胜十场，原来他们的力气可以翻倍提升。因为这样他们力量比我们高出了好几倍，我们无力还手，结果输了这局比赛。这样的比赛是三局两胜，所以我们还有两局比赛获胜的机会。

第二局，我们知道他们力量大，硬碰硬是不行的，可是我们可以打持久战。我心想虽然他们力气大，但是体力消耗得也快。比赛开始了，我们也毫不示弱地爆发了，对方也爆发了。我们就一直保持这种状态，和对方拉开了持久战。因为我们的耐力好，坚持的时间长。过了一会，我们感到对方的气势渐渐弱了下来，我们趁此机会，用尽全身的力气猛力向后一拉，拿下了这场比赛。我们的脸都涨得像火球一样，这局胜利给我们带来了信心和希望。

第三局，我们知道对方的体力已经所剩无几了，我们继续用持久战的`技术，一举拿下了比赛的胜利。我们获得了比赛的最终胜利，并且打破了对方连胜十一场的记录，我们都高兴得大喊起来。

通过这场比赛，我明白了只有团结一致并且坚持不懈才能让集体的力量更好地发挥出来。
