【教材内容】本单元围绕人物个性特征设计不同层次的语言理论活动,教会学生议论人物特征并进展比拟。 一、单元目的清单 (一) 词汇和常用表达

1. 通过课前自主预习和图片观察,可以认读和使用以下词汇和相关话题的常用表达。

2.通过对本单元形容词、副词等核心词汇和相关课余活动的学习及练习,学生能正确写出形容词及副词的比拟级并能正确运用。 —Is Tom smarter (more outgoing/ …) than Sam ? —No, he isn’t. Sam is smarter than Tom. —Are you as friendly (quiet/ …) as your sister? —No, I’m not. I’m friendlier.

3.通过情景句的呈现和学生在情景中的意义操练,学生能正确描绘人物的个性特征,可以正确使用形容词或副词的比拟级对自己或别人进展客观比拟的评价,展开较为真实的交谈和讨论。

4.通过读中的分段任务,填表,问题及思维导图的任务性设计,让学生纯熟运用所学表述人物个性特征及行为习惯的形容词和副词描绘朋友及别人并能理解获取文本有效信息。

5. 通过控制性的仿写活动,能与同伴正确运用比拟级的句型合作起草仿写描绘关于朋友外貌特征的一样或不同之处的短篇文章并简单表述自己的朋友观。 三、文化意识

6.通过对目的语言的学习,学生能阅读相关材料并在真实语境中评价和议论自己和别人,从而理解中外青少年对待友谊的态度和看法。如:I hope that my friend is the same as me. I don’t care if my friend is the same as me or different.等并有简单的原因说明,如:I can learn from him. He is more outgoing than me and he often cheers me up.

7.通过比拟级的特征,如-(i)er, more, as…as等,从对话中听取相关信息,并能通过归类的方法学习和掌握形容词和副词比拟级的构成〔详见教材P113-114〕,在情境中运用形容词和副词的比拟级来对人物的个性特征进展准确描绘,如:—What’s your best friend like? – He is more outgoing than me, but I study harder than him. So we can play basketball together, and we also study together. 四、情感态度

8. 通过老师引导下的各个教学活动,让学生理解不同的交友标准,表达个人观点,培养学生正确的社交意识。
