In recent years, there is a popular phenomenon in China that many people have private cars, even every family has a car, because of the development of social economy, people’s living standard has improved a lot. But every coin has two sides, private car brings not only many advantages to our life, but also many disadvantages.
On the one hand, it’s convenient to have a private car for us. As a transportation tool, it can bring us to go everywhere we want. The use of private car can help us to reduce unnecessary waste of time, we don’t need to queue for a bus and squeeze in the bus. In the holiday, we can drive the car to visit relatives and don’t need to worry about the distance of our destination.
On the other hand, private cars also left many problems to us. The most serious is traffic jam. There are many private cars on the road, in the street, but the road is too small to hold them, so traffic jam comes out. The same problem exists in the parking lot. The use of private cars help us to save time, but the traffic jam wastes a lot of time on the road. We all know that the off-gas from private car is harmful to us for our breathe, because of it, more and more people get lung cancer.
In a word, while private car brings advantages to us, it also brings disadvantages to us. For the sake of our human beings’ long term development, we should advocate the use of new energy and encourage
people to use public transport.
